We believe in giving credit where it’s due and this year, the students of Hitfar University crammed in some late night study sessions, made it to class on time and crushed the exams. We couldn’t ask for anything better.

So without wasting anymore time, here are the winners of our 2017 Hitfar University Student Appreciation Awards (HUSAA)

Most likely to score more goals than Connor McDavid

HU-Awards-Rookie-3.pngThis one goes to the Hitfar University rookie who finished more courses than anyone since joining Hitfar U in 2017. Although the field was packed with outstanding new talent, not everyone can be Wayne Gretzky, except for maybe our Rookie of the Year.

Congratulations to our 2017 Hitfar-U Rookie of the Year – Ariel Alexander from Custom Communications

Most likely to be named to the Hall of Fame (one day)

Keeping your body and mind tack sharp takes more than a couple of completed classes. It takes dedication and a willingness to do what it takes to win. Our All-time MVP goes to the person who has completed the most courses over the lifetime of Hitfar University as an active student.

Congratulations to Hitfar-U MVP Jackie Van Der Koot from Andres Electronics Experts

Most Likely to be traded for a bag of pucks

Every team needs a grizzled veteran to lead the way. Hitfar University has seen people come and go but this person has stuck it out through thick and thin as our Longest Standing Active Student.

Congrats to Hitfar’s cagey University vet – Sara Michaelis from Tom Harris

Most Likely to turn into Arnold Schwarzenegger

HU-Awards-Powerhouse.pngThe Hitfar-U Powerhouse award goes to the team who finished the year with the most collective points. Our 2017 Powerhouse has managed to accumulate a staggering 2220 points and earned 198 badges over the last year as a team, shooting them straight to the top of the leader board. Hey Phone Experts, we know you Alberta folks are known for your hard work, but you’re making the rest of us look bad!

Jokes aside, Congrats to The Phone Experts for being our Hitfar-U Powerhouse award winner.

Most likely to own a pocket protector and suspenders

This award goes to the person who had the most astute observations and relentlessly positive attitude throughout this year and years previous. Congratulations to Brandon Faulkner from Advantage Wireless for keeping your attention to detail sharp and your wit even sharper.

Thank you again to everyone who took part in making 2017 so great and be sure to keep an eye out for new content in 2018.
